Training
Our trainers are available to perform hands-on training OJT or classroom training for operators, maintenance and engineering teams or servicing applications.
In starting Crushology, we are looking to solve these issues by offering innovative training tailored to suit the target site. Our innovative training techniques engage the trainee, ensuring efficient and effective education.
We believe our hands-on experience, coupled with our innovative training techniques, can assist your business in improving efficiency while reducing costs.
All brands’ names and models are owned by various manufactures Crushology has no affiliation with the original equipment or it manufacture. These items are for illustration, training, and identification purposes only
Classroom training
Available to suit any size audience, classroom-style training is the primary method for educating participants on crusher equipment. We use facilities throughout the Perth Metro area but are also available to travel to your site when required.
Unlike most classroom training, our innovative techniques have proven to be engaging and therefore effective and enjoyable for trainees. Our use of 3D modelling, presented through 3D images, 3D animations, and 3D models, is extremely effective in conveying how the various crushing machines operate.
Why does training matter?
The reliability of machines being maintained will only be as good as the level of training given to operations, maintenance, and engineering staff. Day-to-day production pressures can result in a lack of attention to ongoing staff training, resulting in a gradual loss of in-house knowledge and subsequent loss of machine reliability.
Hands-on training
on-the-job training
One major strength of our team is our experience. While our trainers hold at least a Certificate IV in training and have extensive experience, they also have practical experience operating, servicing, and maintaining crushing equipment. We believe that the most beneficial training for operators’ maintenance and engineering staff will be a hands-on, OJT approach with supervision and instruction given while tasks are being performed.
This blend of skills and experience makes Crushology an excellent choice to educate your team on how to operate and maintain your crushing equipment correctly and efficiently. Our consultants have practical experience on most crushing equipment used throughout Australia and are well equipped to perform hands-on training. Typically, such training is conducted onsite, but access to crusher equipment in the Perth area does allow for this training to take place offsite as well.
What we provide
Our training has been built around the understanding that everyone has different abilities and strengths. We focus on mentoring students and maximising throughput for the business through a practical approach to the assessed course. Our methodology is based on a ‘back to basics’ training style that emphasises understanding the ‘how’ and ‘why’ things happen and extending students’ knowledge on all types of equipment and machinery, including the correct repair methods to maintain equipment and save on unnecessary expenditure.
We provide various training packages to accommodate all scenarios, whether it’s remote workers that we could provide in an online capacity upon further consultation or whether you need onsite classroom training for your team.
how do we get started ?
Our recommended starting point for most engagements is to assess your current workforce and operating procedures and conduct a TNA training needs analysis. The result of this assessment is a report that outlines the level of education across your workforce, the issues you are facing, and recommendations for addressing those issues. Depending on the size of your site or the depth to which you want the assessment to go, we offer both preliminary and complete assessments.
The preliminary TNA assessment is an inexpensive engagement that helps you determine the overall ability of your workforce. We can also provide a survey that is completed by your workforce and does not require any face-to-face interaction with our consultants.
We mark up these surveys and provide you with a brief report containing the results and high-level recommendations on how to address any issues identified.
A full assessment requires a site visit by a consultant to view the crushing equipment and review operating and servicing procedures. The result report contains a comprehensive review of your crushing operations and outlines the steps to take to address the issues found.
